The senate shall have standing as well as special committees. The standing committees shall be the Appointments Committee, the Appropriations Committee, the Student Life Committee, the Publicity Committee, the Legislative Issues & Civic Action Committee and the Academic Affairs Committee. All Senate committees shall have the right to create subcommittees, which shall be accountable to the standing Senate committee. Special committees shall be established by a majority vote of the Student Senate to address issues outside of a standing committee.
